Choices are:

Collection - Lets you load videos from the HDD. You can only download videos from the Game Channel, not install them from DVD-Video discs. All videos available for download seem to be in some sort of MPEG format, probably MPEG-2. The playback controls are the same as for DVDs, and the onscreen control menu can be accessed with the Select button.

Disc - Lets you load a DVD Video disc if the region matches the PS2's region or is region All.
